HEXAGONAL JUMPING BOX CARD TUTORIAL!!

Hey! Crafters!

Here I am with a new tutorial of another pop-up card or jumping card.I loved making this card. When you pull the tag of the card a hexagon-shaped box jumps out which surprises the recipient. It is a fascinating, amazing and beautiful card which is also very easy to make..........

YOU WILL NEED
1) Cardstock Papers
2Pencil and Scale
3) Paper Cutter
4) Decorative Papers
5) Adhesive/glue
6Double-sided foam tape
7) Rubber Band
8) A Pair of Scissors

PROCEDURE FOR MAKING
# Making of hexagon popping box#
1) Take a cardstock paper and cut it according to the given template and also we need two sets of this hexagon shape.
After cutting score the lines. Arrange both the cuttings as it is shown below.

Apply glue to the flap of the common side and stick them together.

2) Take 2 pieces of paper measuring 8cm*4cm, and divide it into 4 equal parts of 2 cm each, score the line and fold it in a zig-zag pattern.

Fold it in half, draw the pattern and then carefully cut the pattern on both papers.

3) Now, apply glue to the pattern and carefully stick it on the common flap.

Similarly, stick the other flaps together first, then stick the paper which has the cut pattern to it. Make sure to align both flaps.

4)  Take a strong rubber band put it through the cuts on either side of the box. Now stick the flaps of the top and bottom hexagon to their adjacent sides.

5) Stick decorative papers on every side of the hexagon or decorate it the way you want.

#Making of cover#

1) Take a different cardstock paper and cut out 2 squares of 18*18 cm each. Also, cut a strip of measurement 5*24cm, score it at 1.5 cm and 1.9 cm from one end.

Cut two thin strips of measurement 14*0.7 cm.

2) Take the paper which has slits, apply glue to the sides of the slit and stick the thin strip to it.

Take another thin strip, put it around the slits and stick the ends of the strip together.

3) Now, take the larger strip and pass it under the 1st thin strip and stick it over the other thin strip. Make sure it slides up and down smoothly since it is an important mechanism for this card.

Stick a small square piece of paper at the center of the bottom of the card.

4) Apply a double layer of double-sided foam tape around the shown sides. Then stick the top layer of the card. We will flatten the box and put it inside this card.

Decorate it with decorative paper and your hexagonal jumping box card is ready to be gifted. And yes, you can also stick photos on the sides of the box to make it more personalized and precious.

Hope you all liked it.

THANK YOU!
